COURSES | P.G. DIPLOMA IN COUNSELLING AND FAMILY THERAPY
A unique multidisciplinary compressed semester program where students are required to attend classes two times in two years at the UIM-FRTI, Bangalore. The online classes will be mostly on Saturdays between 7-11 am, from September 2025 to April 2027. It will be planned and announced well in advance.
Basic Qualification: Any undergraduate degree from a recognized university
Course Duration: 2 years

Demonstrate mastery in individual, marriage, and family counseling techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), child-centered therapy, and trauma-informed interventions, while effectively addressing both conscious and unconscious factors influencing relational dynamics.

Integrate faith, theology, and psychological theory to form a coherent and ethical approach to counseling that is both spiritually sensitive and clinically grounded, with a strong foundation in biblical interpretation, theology of marriage and family, and spiritual formation.
