COURSES | M. Sc. IN COUNSELLING AND FAMILY THERAPY
- A unique multidisciplinary compressed semester program where students are required to attend classes four times in two years. Students have to attend classes for two weeks in the month of August and two weeks in the month of May at the UIM Family Mission Centre, Bangalore. The online classes will be on Saturdays between 7-11 am, from September to April. It will be planned and intimated much in advance.
- This course introduces and familiarizes the students with Marriage and Family concepts/therapies/approaches related to Christian counseling, intertwining the disciplines of Christian faith and Psychology.
- This course includes Counseling Practicum, which provides an opportunity to practice counseling skills under the supervision of an experienced practitioner, which equips students to plan and facilitate structured counseling sessions using various counseling aspects and techniques from a Christian prism.
Basic Qualification: Any undergraduate degree from a recognized university.

- Counseling families with special needs: Part – 2 (Addictions, Chronic Illness)
- Thanatology ( Study of death and dying) and Grief Counseling
- Supervised Classroom Practicum
